What is reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese sysetm of energy healing founded in 1922. The word "Reiki" is derived from two Japanese words: "rei" meaning spirit and "ki" meaning energy, so the literal translation is "spirit energy".
A Reiki Practitioner uses practices such as meditation, self healing/care, focused intention and has a strong spiritual connection when practicing Reiki. Reiki works with the animal to faciilitate its own healing response by balancing the energy body, allowing the physical body to heal itself.
Reiki is a non-invasive, complementary or integrative practice that promotes healing, as well as overall health and well-being.
